Senior school

King's College School is an independent day school for boys aged 7-18 and girls aged 16-18. Founded in 1829 by royal charter, King's is a school of over 1300 pupils.

Welcome to King’s College School. The school prides itself on being one of the top academic schools in the country but with a strong emphasis on pastoral care and an exceptional co-curricular programme. Over the past three years our pupils have secured over 160 places at either Oxford or Cambridge. Pupils joining the co-educational sixth form at King's are able to choose between A levels and the International Baccalaureate diploma.

We hope you find the website useful, but the best way to find out about the school is to visit us.
