Hats off to them!

Hats off to them!

This is a long term and both boys and staff are inevitably tired and looking forward to the holiday. Yet it is at this stage that there is so much to be done. The teachers have to complete their end of term reports while at the same time organising the events - plays, quizzes, House matches, concerts, Carol Services - which mark the Advent season. The boys, too, are involved in lots of things. On Wednesday there were Upper Remove (Year 8) boys who rehearsed in the morning for our Christmas Concert that evening, travelled to Wellington College in order to take part in their rugby tournament and then returned to play in the concert. The concert was excellent and the rugby players had a fantastic day, reaching the final and only losing a thrilling match in the very last passage of play. The following day our U13 D team won the King's House rugby tournament which is only for D teams. What a splendid way for them to end their term but hats off to all the staff and boys for doing so much with such enthusiasm.
