Registration fees

£150 non-refundable* fee to accompany the completed registration form.

There is an addition £50 fee to transfer registration from the junior school to the senior school.

*As per the terms and conditions, the registration fee is non-refundable. The only exception is where we are unable for any reason to accept your registration, in which case a refund of the fee will be made

Deposits

An acceptance deposit as set out below is payable when parents accept the offer of place at the school.

Sixth form £1,000
All other years £2,000

The deposit is held until pupils leave the school and all liabilities have been settled.

Tuition fees

Termly fees from September 2016

Senior school (year 9 onwards): £20,400 per annum (£6,800 per term)
Lower school (years 7-8): £18,375 per annum (£6,125 per term)
Junior school: removes / third / second forms: £18,375 per annum (£6,125 per term)
Junior school: transitions / first forms: £16,590 per annum (£5,530 per term)

Extras

School lunches
School lunches are provided on a termly basis and are charged based on the number of days in the term.  Charges for 2016-17 are as follows:

Senior school, lower school & junior school:

            autumn term:               £311.85
            spring term:                 £257.40
            summer term:              £232.65

Junior school: transitions / first forms:

            autumn term:               £269.70
            spring term:                 £226.20
            summer term:              £204.45

The summer term charge is reduced for upper fifth and upper sixth pupils to allow for the examination period.

Books and stationery
The school provides all the necessary books and standard stationery, the majority of which is included in the termly tuition fee except in the sixth form, where stationery and textbooks are charged separately.

Coach
We operate various coach routes to and from school. In 2015-16 the cost is £1,445 per year payable in three termly instalments. Please click here for the coach routes.

Other extras
Other extras will be charged at the cost incurred by the school.

Fees refund scheme (including accidental death cover of the fee-payer)
We offer a fees refund scheme which provides a proportionate refund of fees in certain circumstances if your child is absent from school for a qualifying period due to illness or injury. The charge is 1.3% of the termly fee and is charged in advance on fee bills and cancellable from the beginning of term with half a term’s notice. Please click here for details of the scheme.

Insurances
Personal accident insurance cover is included within the tuition fee. The school offers a number of other optional insurances.

Payment methods

Tuition fees and extras are payable on the first day of the term by direct debit.

Terms and conditions

Composition fees
The school operates a scheme whereby an advance capital payment may be set against the cost of education over future years. Composition fees scheme schedules and application form are available here.

Leaving

One term’s notice is required of parents’ intention to remove a pupil from the school and must be sent in writing, addressed to and actually received by the head master personally, otherwise payment of one term’s fees will be required.
