11+ entry into year 7

Registration for entry in September 2017 has now closed. Candidates wishing to apply for September 2018 entry must register by Thursday 16th November 2017.

Thank you for your interest in year 7 entry to King's for your son. Years 7 and 8 in the senior school are known as the 'lower school', which is separate from King's College Junior School. In September 2016 we welcomed the first cohort of boys into year 7 of the senior school.

Before you decide to apply for your son to join King’s in year 7 you may want to visit us to find out more about the school, to understand the admissions process and to have an idea of how we make decisions about which boys will be offered places here.

You may also want to know whether we might be able to offer help to pay some or all of the fees for your son to come here.

We hope you will find all the information you need on these web pages but please contact the admissions office if you need further information about this entry point.

An information brochure is available to view here.

Please note that King’s currently only accepts applications from students who are UK or EU nationals, or who can demonstrate that they are dependants of people legally entitled to live in the UK for the duration of study at King’s. Please note that we are unable to sponsor pupils who require a Tier 4 visa ("student visa").
