King’s College School is an independent day school for boys aged 7–18 and girls aged 16–18. Founded in 1829 by Royal Charter, King’s is a school of over 1200 pupils. Overlooking Wimbledon Common, King’s is located in one of the most attractive and peaceful parts of London. The original school buildings date from the 18th Century and are surrounded by nearly twenty acres of sports pitches and laid-out gardens. The School prides itself on being one of the top academic schools in the country but with a strong emphasis on pastoral care and an exceptional co-curricular programme. Over the past three years our pupils have secured over one hundred places at either Oxford or Cambridge. From September 2013, pupils joining the co-educational Sixth Form at King's will be able to choose between A Levels and the International Baccalaureate. We hope you find the website useful but the best way to find out about the School is to
