What is the use of living if it be not to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone? Winston Churchill
All King's charity work is underpinned by the belief in the fundamental equality of humanity and the Christian principle from him to whom much is given, much will be required.
The School supports local, national and international charities through the House system, through whole school collections, and through the biennial Make a Difference Day (the fun-run featured in the photograph is just one of many fundraising events on the day).
The aim of charities at King's is not only to raise money for good causes, but to educate pupils and enable them to become more knowledgeable about the political, cultural and social issues facing the world today.
