Art, Design, Music and Drama play an important part in school life. Every year there is an Art and Design Exhibition and each boy in the school will have at least two pieces of work on display. The standard of music is most impressive but the Department is not elitist. The overwhelming majority of our boys learn to play musical instruments and they are able to join one or more of the school's many choirs and ensembles. There is an extensive programme of concerts and performance opportunities which include such venues as the St John's Smith Square and Westminster Abbey. Boys are involved in drama in the classroom, in school productions and in assemblies. Acting encourages them to enter worlds different from their own and see life through other people's eyes. Drama can also help to build boys self-confidence and it is great fun, too.
