The Arthur Wellesley Society

The Arthur Wellesley Society is a cultural society which organises a series of events each academic year to which the parent body of both the junior and senior schools are invited. These will include occasional speeches at school, theatre or exhibition trips, and, from time to time, a celebratory dinner.

Arthur Wellesley is perhaps better known as The Duke of Wellington, or “the Iron Duke” who, as Prime Minister, helped to found King’s College School in 1829.
